Course Outline
This course will discuss the story of two great women: Lady Hannah daughter of Imran and her daughter Lady Maryam.
The main objectives of the course are to help students:
- become familiar with the stories of these two women from the Quran.
- learn how to be in close communication with Allah
- understand the male and female roles and responsibilities
- understand the concept of physical, emotional, and spiritual growth
- Learn about Prophet Zakariyyah (Zechariah) ‘alayhis salām
Each session will include a reading of verses in Arabic and English, an explanation, and its commentary. Cross reference to other verses of the Quran on the same theme may also be explored.
