This course is designed to offer insight into one of the Usul of the Shia of Ahlul Bayt. Imamah, or divine leadership after the Prophet (s), has been defined in the Qur’an and Hadith literature. It is incumbent on followers of the Ahlul Bayt to have Ma’rifah or “deep knowledge” of the Imams, thus students will get exposed to the theological discussions and debates surrounding this principle of our faith.
