In this workshop participants will learn how to effectively manage diabetes with healthy eating, exercise and blood glucose monitoring. Menu planning will also be discussed by incorporating nutrition label reading, carbohydrate counting and understanding glycemic index and portion control. This workshop is ideal for those who are at risk for developing diabetes and for those living with diabetes
