This six week course will look at some of the books on the life of this great Imam and his contribution to Islamic heritage. We will also look at the five schools of Islamic Jurisprudence briefly and see how the madh-hab of Imam al-Sadiq (a) differs from other madhaa-hib.
Online relay: for the first time this onsite course will also be relayed online to enable participants outside Toronto to benefit and interact lively in this course. There will be limited space in the virtual class room which will be given out on first-come first-serve basis.
Dates: May 21- June 25, 2011 (both dates inclusive)
Days of the week: Saturday mornings
Timings: 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 noon (Toronto/NY timings).
