Racism is a relatively new term, with its first recorded usage in 1902 by Richard Henry Pratt; however, the phenomenon it describes is much older than the history of the expression. In this course, we will explore the first instance of racism as articulated by the Quran and examine the ways in which the Holy Prophet (s) dismantled institutionalized racism.
