ALI-328: Anger Management

Anger is a normal response to pain, threat, and injustice. Many are often frightened of the intense feeling of anger and may try to push it away. We may believe that expressing anger is not appropriate so we may try to use our willpower to be in control of our emotions and not to express anger. Often these strategies do not work and may cause anger to ‘leak out’ in unhealthy ways. In this course, we will learn to distinguish between healthy assertiveness and toxic anger. We will also cover how to recognize our own anger style and practice effective ways of dealing with situations that trigger us.
